Day 1 : Kigali - Transfer to Kibale Forest NP in Uganda
Start your journey to Kibale Forest National Park with an early pickup from your hotel or the airport in Kigali by our knowledgeable safari driver guide. After a brief stop in Fort Portal Town for lunch, you will continue the journey to Kibale Forest.
In the evening, enjoy a local cultural activity with a choice of the Bigodi swamp primate walk or the Bigodi community walk. The community walk will take you to the doorstep of the locals who call this area home, offering a unique insight into their way of life. Accompanied by a resident guide, you will explore schools, churches, and gain a deeper understanding of the diverse tribes and customs of the region.
After a day’s activities, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a well deserved rest as you prepare for more adventures in the days ahead.

Day 2 : Chimpanzee Tracking Experience in Kibale Forest NP
After starting your day with a refreshing cup of coffee and grabbing your breakfast and lunch boxes, you will be transported to the starting point or park offices. Here, you will meet up with other adventurers for a briefing on the day's activities and be paired with a knowledgeable local ranger guide for a group of up to 8 people.
With only 4,950 chimpanzees left in the wild, Kibale forest is home to over 1,470 of these fascinating primates, making it the perfect place to observe them in their natural habitat. The half-day experience allows you to immerse yourself in the daily life of chimpanzees, from de-nesting and nesting them to following them as they go about their activities.
In addition to chimpanzees, you may also encounter other primates such as Red tailed Monkeys, Red Colobus, Grey Cheeked Mangabeys, Olive Baboons, Black and White Colobus, and more. It's an unforgettable opportunity to witness these incredible creatures up close and learn about their behavior in the wild.

Day 3 : Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP - Gorilla Tracking
After enjoying an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive southwards through the Ishasha sector with lunch on the way at a good local restaurant.
Upon arrival at your lodge in Bwindi, you will settle in, have dinner and rest as you prepare for your upcoming gorilla tracking adventure.

Day 4 : Gorilla Tracking Experience in Bwindi
Immerse yourself in the magic of Bwindi as you come face to face with the gentle giants of the forest - the mountain gorillas. Prepare for a challenging trek through steep and muddy terrain, but the reward of witnessing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat will make every step worth it. Watch in awe as the gorillas go about their daily activities, from eating to playing and resting, right before your eyes.
After an unforgettable encounter with the gorillas, you will return to your lodge, freshen up and have lunch. In afternoon, you can opt for a village walk to interact with the local people.

Day 5 : Batwa Pygmies Cultural Experience - Return to Kigali
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast before embarking on a fascinating adventure in the Kisoro area. Today's highlight is a visit to the indigenous Batwa people, who have been marginalized in Ugandan society. Despite facing derision from the nationals, the Batwa have maintained their traditional way of life, relying on hunting and gathering in the forest.
During your visit, you will be treated to traditional song and dance performances, showcasing the Batwa's rich cultural heritage and genuine pride in their identity. After the experience, have lunch before heading back to Kigali for your late evening flight or to enjoy some relaxation in the city before your journey back home
