Day 1 : Kampala - Queen Elizabeth NP
Embark on a scenic journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Kampala Masaka road, a 7-hour drive filled with breathtaking views. Along the way, pause at the equator for a memorable photo opportunity before stopping in Mbarara for a delicious lunch. After refueling, continue your adventure with a 3-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Get ready to experience the wildlife and natural beauty that awaits you in this stunning reserve. 
Day 2 : Early Morning Game drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start your day with an exciting game drive to the northern sector of the park, the Kasenyi plains, in search of elusive leopards and majestic lions. As you traverse Kasenyi tracks, be prepared to witness the incredible sight of vast herds of elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Defassa waterbucks, bushbucks, and giant forest hogs. After a thrilling morning exploring the wildlife, return to the lodge for a delicious hot lunch. 

After lunch, embark on a relaxing and breathtaking launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel at 2:00 pm, where you will have the opportunity to get up close to big herds of elephants, hippos, and a diverse array of migrant and endemic birds. Witness the beauty of nature at its best as you glide through the tranquil waters. 

At 6:00 pm, return to the lodge for a well-deserved dinner and some downtime to unwind and reflect on the day's adventures. Immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings and let the experiences of the day soak in as you prepare for another exciting day ahead. 
Day 3 : Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge - Transfer to Bwindi NP
After breakfast, the day starts with a visit to Kyambura Gorge to track chimpanzees. This activity involves trekking through the lush forest in search of these fascinating creatures. Once the chimpanzees are located, visitors can observe them in their natural habitat for an hour, learning about their behavior and interactions. 

After the chimpanzee tracking activity, you will return to the lodge to freshen up and lunch. Following lunch, the group will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is known for its dense rainforest and mountain gorilla population, making it a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts. 

Once you arrive at the park, you can settle into your accommodation and relax after a day of adventure and exploration. 
Day 4 : Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable NP
Get an early start to your day by waking up before the sun rises to enjoy a delicious breakfast. After your meal, head over to the park headquarters, just a short distance from your lodge, where you will receive a briefing from a knowledgeable park ranger. At 8:30 am, embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Tracking gorillas through the dense jungle is a challenging yet incredibly rewarding activity. 

The opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The duration of the trek can vary, ranging from one hour to several hours, depending on the movement of the gorilla families. Prepare yourself for an adventure that will leave you in awe of the beauty and power of these amazing animals. 

In the afternoon, after completing the gorilla tracking experience, you will have the opportunity to take a village walk to interact with the local community. This will give you a chance to learn about their way of life, culture, and traditions. You may visit local homes, schools, markets, or other points of interest in the village, and have the chance to engage with the residents and learn about their daily lives. 
Day 5 : Departure
After enjoying breakfast, make your way back to either Entebbe or Kigali airport. The journey from Bwindi to Entebbe is a lengthy 8-hour drive, while the drive to Kigali International Airport is a more manageable 4 to 5 hours.
