Day 1 : Arrival in Bujumbura, Burundi
Upon arrival at the airport in Burundi, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Here, you will meet with your guide who will provide a briefing on the itinerary and details of the trip.
The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing by the beach and acclimating to your new surroundings.

Day 2 : xplore the Countryside (Gishora Drummers)
On Day 3, you will start your day by visiting the Gishora Royal Drums Sanctuary in Burundi. This cultural site is a collection of ancient drums that were historically used in ceremonies by the Burundian monarchy. You will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of these drums and their role in the country's cultural heritage. You will also witness a traditional drumming performance during your visit.
After exploring the drums sanctuary, you will head to the Teza Tea Plantation for a guided tour. Here, you will learn about the process of tea production and have the chance to sample some freshly brewed tea. The plantation is set in a scenic location, so you can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the tea fields and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Next, you will have a village visit. This is an opportunity to understand the burundian common person way of life in a village setting. You will interact with locals, listen to stories and even take some amazing scenic pictures.
Overnight: Gitega
Day 3 : Departure
On this day, you will be driven to the airport in Bujumbura after breakfast. If time allows, you will have the opportunity to stop by the southernmost source of the river Nile. It is a significant site as the Nile is the longest river in the world, and it is fascinating to see where it begins its journey from this remote location.
