Following an early breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel or any other accommodation and taken to the briefing point in the stunning Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Here, you’ll receive essential information about your upcoming adventure with the majestic mountain gorillas. Remember to bring plenty of drinking water and a packed lunch for the day. For just $15, you can hire a porter to assist with your bag and navigate any slippery or steep sections of the forest.

Once the briefing concludes, you’ll be divided into small groups of eight and accompanied by a park ranger as you enter the forest to spend an exciting hour with these gentle giants. Given that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest, raingear is highly recommended to keep you comfortable during the trek. After the exhilarating gorilla experience, you’ll be transferred to either Kabale or Kisoro, based on your travel arrangements.
